Hunting Bird

Hunting Bird as seen by the artist: "From our house high above the Dart estuary I see birds of prey cicling and hovering and diving on their victims. In creating Hunting Bird I wanted to create a sense of threatening power, beauty and movement. I built up the image in plaster and the skeletons of prickley pear trees and have patinated the bronze myself".
