Lismore Castle has been the Irish home of the Dukes of Devonshire since 1753 and is one of the most spectacular castles in Ireland. Situated in a panoramic position overlooking the Blackwater Valley it has views over rolling, wooded hills to the Knockmealdown Mountains beyond. To the South, the Heritage Town of Lismore is a mere two minute walk away. When the Duke and his family are not staying the castle is available to hire, fully staffed.
